A 19 year old is suspected of having shot another young man in Niort. The case was entrusted to the criminal pole of Poitiers where the defendant was deferred this Wednesday, August 4.
The facts go back to Saturday July 31, in the street. A young man is the victim ofa gunshot to the abdomen. He is hurt but “his vital prognosis has never been engaged”, indicates the prosecutor’s office of Poitiers. The individual suspected of being the author of the shooting was arrested two days later, this Monday, August 2. The two young people know each other, they would have had a dispute over a story of shooting unpaid rap clip.
The respondent denies the facts
The suspect, who is not particularly known to the courts, deny the facts. The weapon has not been found. The Poitiers public prosecutor’s office has opened a judicial investigation for attempted homicide. The young man was indicted and remanded in custody.
