A 19-year-old man shot in Brooklyn – NBC New York

NEW YORK – A 19-year-old man was shot in the head in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York City police announced.

The victim was transported to the hospital and, according to the uniformed officer, could possibly lose his life.

The shooting took place around 2:50 pm in front of the Viale 5002 in the Flatlands neighborhood, authorities said.

The suspect fled the scene in a sedan and was last seen wearing a black jacket, mask, and red hoodie.

The cause of the shooting and whether the victim was the target of the attack were not released.

The authorities are investigating the facts.
