A teenager died on Friday February 26 in a neighborhood house in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis), near Paris, franceinfo, France Télévisions and France Bleu Paris learned. According to franceinfo information, the 15-year-old boy was shot and killed by shots from individuals on scooters in the Espace Nelson-Mandela located on rue Auguste-Blanqui.
The shootings took place at 5:10 p.m., through the letterbox of the neighborhood house. The teenager was shot in the chest and died around 6:45 p.m. The two scooter suspects immediately fled and are actively sought this Friday evening, according to a police source.
From a source close to the case, the victim was known to frequent drug outlets in the northern districts of Bondy. An investigation was opened by the Bobigny prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police (SDPJ 93).
On Twitter, the mayor of Bondy Stéphen Hervé (LR) talks about a “terrible drama” : “It is an intolerable act, nothing can justify it. Such a horror is all the more odious as it attacks our republican values and our youth, since it was committed within a building municipal.” The mayor also announced that a “Support cell was set up for the witnesses and the entourage of the victim, deeply shocked.”
