A 14.5-year-old minor was arrested on Monday as part of the investigation into the deterioration of twelve Restos du Coeur trucks on Friday, in Wattrelos, in the North.
On Friday, twelve Restos du Cœur trucks were vandalized within the departmental platform of the charity association.
“A Stupid Act”
Tires had been punctured, windows shattered and flammable liquid dispersed without ignition.
The president of the association in the North, Thierry Sarrazin deplored “a stupid act by 2 imbeciles (…) which will ultimately put our 52 centers open in this back-to-school week and the tens of thousands of people we help”.
