The Chinese company that owns the social network TikTok is not at the end of its troubles. After the troubles initiated by the American president Donald Trump who is on the way out, possible trouble could come from the UK. The danger would come from 12 year old girl of English nationality. She denounces the illegal use of children’s data by the social network.
For the plaintiff’s lawyers, the social network feeds its algorithm with the data of the children who are registered there. A procedure supported by the English authorities by the voice of the Children’s Commissioner for England Anne Longfield. Justice granted the girl anonymity during the proceedings against TikTok.
