Missing since October 10, Lylou, a 12-year-old girl from Genay, is still wanted by her family and by the gendarmerie of Lyon Metropolis. She hasn’t given any signs of life for six weeks.

Where has Lylou gone and what has happened to her since her disappearance on October 10th? For six weeks, Gendarmerie investigators have been trying to find the child. Since October, the Rhône Gendarmerie has forwarded several requests for witnesses to the public, but searches have so far been unsuccessful.

With shoulder-length black hair, green eyes, freckles and a nose piercing, Lylou stands 1.6m tall. They he is of medium build. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black jogging pants and a sky blue crop top. An upset child

In an interview with our colleagues from BFM Lyon, her mother confides on Tuesday November 22 that it is not the first time she has escaped, but that during her previous disappearances she had left with some things. Her mother paints a portrait of a child weakened and tormented by a sudden gang rape at age 10.

In late September, shortly before her disappearance, she had attended a reenactment and confronted her attackers. “I think it moved him a lot. It’s very difficult in a child’s head to understand justice.”, testifies his mother to the microphone of our colleagues. Distraught, she confides that she is tirelessly searching for her daughter. Her escape or kidnapping, she wonders about the reasons for her disappearance.
