A $ 10,000 fine for a passenger who refused to wear a mask on a plane

A passenger was fined $ 10,000 for not wearing a mask on a flight from Utah to Arizona in the United States. This was announced by the Federal Aviation Administration.

The flight was in February, and the flight attendant asked the man several times to put the protective equipment on his face so that it would cover his nose and mouth. He did, but the moment the woman walked away, he removed the mask from his nose. The flight attendant reprimanded him seven times.

As a result, the passenger quarreled with her and refused to fill in a report for violation, as well as to present an identity document. He also touched the flight attendant and accused her of aggression. Then the woman got scared and cried.

By June, federal authorities had reported at least 3,000 passenger accidents, much more than usual, mainly due to passengers refusing to wear a protective mask. These passengers can then complain that they have been discriminated against by the airline, even if they are not right, and this trend must be closely monitored by insurers, warns the largest European insurer Allianz (Allianz), quoted by AFP.

Meanwhile, it became clear that a passenger on a flight from Vladivostok to Moscow was shot down in Russia for refusing to wear a mask.
