YOGYAKARTAKOMPAS. com – A 10-year-old boy died of dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) in Kapanewon Semanu, GunungkidulOF Yogyakarta. An investigation is currently underway by the Gunungkidul Health Bureau.

“We investigated in the field, the patient died in one of the hospitals. We were also in the hospital, in fact he died from dengue shock syndrome (a complication of dengue infection) and this patient went into shock” he said.
Dewi said his team also immediately conducted a field survey, it was found that the rate of larvae was still low, and he added that there were those who died.
“There is indeed transmission but it hasn’t been fully reported,” Dewi said.
Tomorrow his party will conduct fogging or fumigation as well as conducting consultations related to the DHF.
“For tarnish This is the last weapon to be done, because the result of misuse causes mosquitoes to become resistant to insecticides,” said Dewi.
Dewi said several locations already have insecticide-resistant mosquitoes, so they need the latest insecticides. So that the party of her encourages clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS), to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes.
“This season, if there are cans and water, the larvae will reproduce easily,” Dewi said.
