New campaign to inform young people about corona rules

Rotterdam student associations have again presented a campaign to alert young people to the corona measures. It is a national campaign, but with Rotterdam students on the posters.

Posters will soon be hanging all over the city and at student houses and associations saying ‘That’s what we do it for’. The student of the photo indicates that he follows the corona rules well, because he would like to do something again that he is now missing. Such as 21-year-old business administration student Marien, who hopes to see another match in a full Kuip soon.

It is a second information campaign by students in a few months. Flyers were already distributed among students during the summer holidays after the first major outbreaks of corona. Last month, 500 information packages were distributed to student houses.

Mayor Aboutaleb and Prof Ed Brinksma, the chairman of the Executive Board of Erasmus University, were presented with the first poster and flag. Aboutaleb says he is happy with the initiative of the national Chamber of Associations.

Puck de Waal of the Rotterdam umbrella organization of student associations: “The students are in any case aware of the measures and they know what is expected of them. But we do see that there are some who have difficulty following the rules. . ”
