Beaches close for full capacity in Rota, Barbate, San Roque and Cadiz | Radio Jerez | Present

The Cadiz municipalities of Rota, San Roque, Vejer de la Frontera and Cádiz have limited access to several Beaches to complete the capacity.

As sources from the Local Police of Rota have pointed out to Europa Press, the beaches affected have been “almost all”, except that of Costilla, which is the widest of all. The access restriction began at 12.30 pm in a staggered manner.

In Weighs, the City Council has divided the beach from El Palmar in 12 sectors, of which two are this Saturday with restricted access from 2:00 p.m., the same situation that occurred this Saturday, as reported in a Facebook post.

In Cádiz, the City Council informs that access to the beach of La Caleta around the same time and is scheduled to reopen at 5:00 p.m. Similarly, on the beach of Santa Maria del Mar 80% of the capacity has been reached, so the entrance has been closed through the area closest to the breakwater.

Finally, in San Roque the beach attendants of the Junta de Andalucía have closed the access to the Sardina cove from 13.50 hours. In addition, in this municipality the beach of Alcaidesa has exceeded 75% capacity, as detailed in the official application of the City Council.

In other highly frequented areas of the province, such as Barbate or Algeciras, it has not been necessary to restrict the entry of people, according to the applications created by their municipalities to measure capacity. In Zahora de Barbate the capacity is greater than 75% and in Zahara de Los Atunes, which closed on Saturday, is between 50 and 75%.

In Chipiona The beaches of Tres Piedras, Regla, Cruz del Mar and Niño de Oro are close to reaching the maximum capacity, all of which exceed 90%, according to the City Council on its website
