After Wallonia and Brussels, the Flemish government is also preparing to introduce stricter corona rules. Interrelationships in amateur sport or culture are on the table, among other things. The question is also whether Flanders, following the other federal states, is introducing a more extensive curfew.

The government has been together in the Errera House in Brussels since 18 hours. Upon arrival, several ministers emphasized that the situation in Flanders is “very serious”. “We are now going to decide on a package of measures to hit the virus in a relatively short time,” said Minister of Internal Administration Bart Somers (Open Vld).
After the consultation, a press conference will follow to explain all additional measures. According to Minister of Education and Sport Ben Weyts (N-VA), the decisions would not be too long in coming.
