In less than seven hours, the Kudus Police Criminal Investigation Unit team managed to arrest a single perpetrator who had the heart to kill the resident of Megawon Village, Jati Subdistrict, Kudus.
Kapolres Kudus AKBP Aditya Surya Dharma said that the mother of two died at the hands of Kiswanto Hariyono (40), a resident of Loram Village, Jati Subdistrict, Kudus, who was none other than his childhood friend during elementary school (SD).

From Kiswanto’s confession, the scrap metal seller, he and the victim had been secretly having an affair.

“The two of them intensively communicate via WhatsApp. Even though they are both married and have children. His admission has only been in close contact for three months,” said Aditya during a press conference at the Kudus Police Headquarters, Tuesday (27/10/2020).

Kasat Reskrim Kudus Police AKP Agustinus David said, at the height of the affair, the two agreed to meet face to face at the Mahkota Hotel, Jati District, Kudus on Sunday (25/10/2020).
The perpetrator then ordered room number 105 in the afternoon at around 14.30 until the victim was not long after.
Well, it was in a jasmine class hotel room that the two of them then had sex until they ended up bickering.
At that time, a heated argument between the two occurred because the perpetrator intended to end this unnatural relationship.
The perpetrator, who was drunk with liquor, argued that his wife had discovered the affair.
“The perpetrator who was under the influence of alcohol was crazy because the victim did not want the affair to be ended. The perpetrator spontaneously choked the victim’s neck and pressed the victim’s chest until he died. The victim died on Sunday afternoon around 16.30. The perpetrator then fled,” explained David.

The next day on Monday (26/10/2020) afternoon, the body of the victim was found by hotel officers and Jati Police officers.
“It was less than 7 hours, Monday night we arrested the perpetrators in the Mlati Kidul Kudus area,” concluded David.
Goodbye selling and lost
Listifah previously said goodbye to her husband, Winarto (52), about to sell around on a motorbike on Sunday (25/10/2020).
However, because there was no news all day long until communication was lost, Winarto then reported it to the police.
During its development, Listifah was found dead in room number 105, Hotel Mahkota, Jati District, Kudus on Monday (26/10/2020) afternoon.
The Head of Jati Police AKP Bambang Sutaryo said that the discovery of the victim’s body stems from the suspicion of the hotel due to no response from the occupants of the hotel room 105 even though it has entered the preparation time for “check out”. Because it was more than 12 noon, the hotel clerk had also tried to knock on the door of the hotel room, but again did not respond.
Until finally to confirm it, the hotel then contacted the Jati Police Headquarters.
“The police came and opened the hotel room door using a spare key. At that time the victim was found dead,” said Bambang.
