You Don’t Understand This. – FAJAR

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA -– Former Democrat Party politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean asked MUI Wasekjen Tengku Zulkarnain about the closure of the Nissa factory in Indonesia.

As is known, Nissan closed its factory facilities and laid off hundreds of workers in Indonesia. The latest news, Nissan will open vacancies for about 2,000 people at their factory in Samut Prakan, Thailand, which is located south of Bangkok.

Through his twitter account, Tengku Zulkarnain questioned the Job Creation Law which he said made it easier for investors.

“The Nissan Car Factory announced that it will close its business in March 2021. You know, the Omnibus Law has been made, how come it closed, aka the fog to Thailand. Indeed the law is not effective, tho. ” Tanya Tengku Zul, Tuesday (27/10).

Ferdinand then responded to the tweet. This EWI Executive Director said that Nissan’s decision to close its factory had nothing to do with the Omnibus Law. Because the decision had been in place since May 2020 before the Omnibus Law was passed.

“Zul, the decision to close the factory was difficult since May 2020 before the Ciptaker Law was enacted and passed,” wrote Ferdinand.

Ferdinand said Nissan’s move from Indonesia to Thailand was because there were only Nissan factories in ASEAN, only in Thailand.

“For a giant company like this to move, it is not like moving the chicken coop at any time. They close in 2021 but all moves in Thailand are already underway before closing here. You don’t even understand this one. ” said Ferdinand. (end)
