On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, a special event will take place on the Steam digital distribution platform, during which dozens of domestic and Slovak creators will offer their games with a discount of up to 90%. The offer lasts until November 2.
“A total of 165 games from 72 Czech and Slovak studios entered the event. We are very pleased with this unprecedented interest of developers who decided to support the event and join,” said Pavel Barák, chairman of the Association of Czech Game Developers, which together with Slovak colleagues initiated.
The aim is to make Czech and Slovak game production as visible as possible. “The high number of applications really surprised us. It illustrates well how many Czech and Slovak game developers are currently operating on the market,” he added.
Large “studios such as Bohemia Interactive, SCS Software, Warhorse Studios and Amanita Design also took part in the” celebrations “.
Discounted Czech games will be available from Monday at 18:00 on Steam event page, the vast majority of titles offer really interesting prices, some creators offered up to 90% discount. The organizers of the event did not rule out that if the thematic week receives a strong response among the players, they will organize it next year as well.
