LIVE | More than 50,000 infections in 24 hours in France | Inland

In France, 52,010 corona infections were found last 24 hours, a new day record after Saturday’s more than 45,000. The day before, France passed 1 million infections since the outbreak of the epidemic.

According to the Ministry of Health, 116 people have died in the past 24 hours as a result of Covid-19. On Saturday there were 137. The virus has claimed almost 35,000 lives in France.

As of this weekend, 46 million of the 67 million inhabitants have been subject to a curfew. Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., people are only allowed outside for a valid reason. The measure will remain in force for at least six weeks.
