Apple’s first two iPhone 12 models are starting to ship, and of course the iFixit workers are busy taking them apart, and as of this writing, the detailed disassembly is still incomplete, but they’ve revealed enough detail to get a good look under those screens.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are surprisingly similar on the inside, with iFixit indicating that the cheaper model has a plastic splitter where the Pro places its telephoto lens and LiDAR sensor.
The two phones also have the same battery size, 10.78 watts, which is slightly smaller than the 11.91 and 11.67 watt-hour batteries that iFixit reported in the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro last year. And it was noted that the battery life in the iPhone 12 does not completely match its predecessor, according to the Arab portal for technical news.
And (teardown) also notes that the unlocked phones on the side are different this year, and they have much larger logic panels. This is likely due to the addition of 5G technology, which may put pressure on the battery size.
IFixit has already broadcast a video of the new iPhone 12 devices.
It is reported that Apple provides many options to choose from while preparing its good phone, starting with setting the phone as brand new – that is, no settings, messages, apps, or accounts are transferred – or restoring a backup from iCloud.
The strong demand for the new iPhone 12 Pro in China is helping to boost sales of Apple’s new smartphone model to better-than-expected levels, according to a new report by trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
It is estimated that China accounts for between 35 and 45% of the global demand for (iPhone 12 Pro), according to Kuo in the report issued today, Monday.
He added that consumers around the world registered between seven and nine million initial orders for the iPhone 12 and Pro phones combined in the first weekend of sales.
