RIAU24.COM – Manager Cinema in the city Pekanbaru until now it has not been allowed to run a business in the midst of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 or Covid-19 pandemic.
Secretary of the Pekanbaru City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPM-PTSP) Office F Rudi Misdian said the ban on cinemas from operating was in accordance with the direction of the Central Government.

“So the central government has not allowed it. The center asks to wait, don’t operate yet,” he said last weekend.
Rudi conveyed that the ban on operating cinemas was also given the high spread of the Covid-19 outbreak in Pekanbaru City.
“Because (the spread) of covid is increasing, that’s one of the considerations that cinemas have not been allowed to operate,” he said.

Although not yet allowed to operate, Rudi said that there were 7 cinema managers who had applied for operational permits and all of them have been processed.
“Indeed, there are 7 operational permits that we are processing. It’s just that to be able to operate we have to wait for the direction from the center. So even though the permits have been processed, until now none have operated,” he concluded.
