Pandemic time is also a time of opportunity, and Elita is realizing it at full capacity.
At the Putti Art Gallery, she has opened a solo exhibition of her works, Sketches of Consciousness. In the exhibition, you can not only see, but also buy costumes, dishes, paintings and face masks.
Facial fees are the most demanded, and she has already made more than 1000. She has given one of the first Elita face masks to Agita Putāne, the manager of the Putti gallery. It was still early spring, when the pandemic had just begun. Now the demand is so great that you can’t just sew.
While many artists are in despair due to declining incomes, Elita is not worried about a lack of work, but worries about how to get everything and not burn it, because the hands are full of work. Glad to have her own timer and not have to wake up in the morning with an alarm clock.
