Said Wahbi, the official spokesman for the Moroccan Raja club, denied the news that spread over the past few days regarding the recovery of 4 players from the team with the new Corona virus.
“Wehbe” confirmed in televised statements that what is reported about the recovery of some players from the new Corona virus is completely incorrect news, and that no player from the team has completed the recovery so far.
The official spokesperson of the Moroccan Raja Club stated that two new cases of Corona virus were recorded among the ranks of Raja, bringing the total to 16 cases among the players, and the team is currently subject to quarantine.
He stressed that the Moroccan Raja team, with all its members including players and a technical, medical and administrative apparatus, is currently under quarantine for a week and has been prevented from traveling to Egypt to meet the Zamalek team, stressing that the most important thing for them is the recovery of all players.
He expressed his wish that the team will be ready to meet Zamalek before the upcoming match between them on November 1, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals, after the match was postponed by the African Union.
Zamalek defeated Moroccan Raja in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final with a goal without a response.
