JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – PBNU appreciates the police for acting quickly and swiftly for the arrest of Sugi Nur Raharja or Gus Nur.
Sugi Nur Raharja alias Gus Nur was reported by the Chairman of the Cirebon branch of NU, Azis Hakim to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit last October 21.
Gus Nur secured by Bareskrim Polri in Malang, East Java on Saturday morning.
PBNU assessed, since 2019 Gus Nur has insulted NU with provocative statements and slander that NU is an organization with members of the PKI, Liberals and so on.
Secretary General of the PBNU Helmy Faishal Zaini asked the PBNU family not to be provoked and take action outside the corridors of the law.
Helmy also conveyed that PBNU will fully hand over to the police.
