Shortly before the start of the demonstration, Forza Nuova leader Giuliano Fastellino said he deliberately ignored the curfew to make his point. “You can’t tell me that a minute after midnight there is suddenly a virus and a minute earlier there isn’t.” According to him, Prime Minister Conte is violating the law with stricter covid rules.

He is expected to switch to stricter measures for all of Italy today or tomorrow.
