Famous personalities, whether inventors, Explorers or activists, not only fascinate adult readers, but also populate children’s and young people’s books. In this course, you will walk in the footsteps of Scott and Amudsen, trace Marie Curie’s insights or be inspired by people from all times and countries – in picture and youth books, anthologies, comics and graphic novels. You will learn how you can use the life paths of famous personalities in mediation and take a look at modern methods to immerse yourself in the lives of others with readers.

The course is recognized for the qualification “literary pedagogy” and is credited with 40 TU by the Federal Association for Reading Promotion (BVL modules 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3).
