Thousands in London against corona rules | Abroad

The activists oppose the duty of masks and regard the corona measures as tyranny. Some question the pandemic itself. The Save our Rights UK organization has called for the demonstration.

Boris Johnson’s government has recently taken measures to divide the risk of spread in England into three alert phases. The most risky areas have more severe restrictions on public life than in the other regions. Especially in the north of England pubs and bars have to close and meetings between different households are prohibited. There is a curfew from 10 pm throughout England and up to six people are allowed to attend meetings.

The number of corona infections in Great Britain is increasing dramatically, with more than 20,000 new cases regularly occurring every day.

Corona protest Malieveld

Hundreds of people also gathered on the Malieveld in The Hague on Saturday to demonstrate against the temporary corona speed law. There is a lot of police present. The organization called on the demonstrators to keep their distance from each other. Some people responded to this. Mouth masks were hardly visible.

Senate members were called upon to vote against ‘the most draconian law ever’. Next week, the senate will discuss the corona law that should replace the local emergency ordinances. The law gives the corona measures a legal basis.
