In France, several more people have been detained following the murder of a teacher

“Social network surveillance and the fight against hate on the Internet will be intensified,” French Prime Minister Jean-Claude said after a meeting of the National Security Council in Paris.

Stricter laws will also be introduced, according to which threatening someone by disclosing this person’s personal data will be considered a criminal offense, the Prime Minister said.

Pati, a 47-year-old history teacher, was assassinated on October 16 on the western outskirts of Paris in Conflan-Sentonorin at the school where he worked. His head was cut off.

The attacker was an 18-year-old Chechen immigrant born in Moscow, Abdullah Anzorov, who was shot dead by police and who later died from his injuries.

Investigators believe that Anzorov attacked Pati because a teacher had shown cartoons about the Muslim prophet Muhammad to students in an early freedom class in early October.

One of the suspects is the father of one of Pat’s students. He had started an online campaign against Pat.

After the murder, police searched 56 addresses, Kastex revealed, but did not provide further information about the arrests.

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that the government will hold a debate on the law against separatism and radical Islam in early December.

The murder itself shocked France. Over the weekend, thousands took to the streets to show solidarity with the murdered teacher.

On Wednesday, Macron hosted an event in memory of Pati at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
