Al-Ahly confirmed the establishment of the final of the African Champions League for the current season 2019-2020 in Egypt, after qualifying at the expense of Moroccan Wydad Casablanca in the semi-finals of the tournament with the total of the two round-trip matches.
The Confederation of Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided that the stadium of the final will be determined by the draw if two teams from two different countries qualify for the final match of the tournament, while it will be in the same country if two teams from one country qualify for it.
The draw for the final stadium was held last Friday in Morocco and resulted in it being held in Egypt, to make sure after Al-Ahly qualified that the final match would be in Egypt.
Al-Ahly, qualified from Zamalek and Raja, will wait in the other semi-final, and Al-Abyad had excelled outside his rules in the first leg with a clean goal, while the return match will be November 1.
Egypt guaranteed Al-Ahly’s qualification to be the final in Egypt, which the African Union decided to be next November 6.
