The Zeeland police has arrested five boys aged 13 to 15 from Vlissingen. They are suspected of kicking and beating a 15-year-old boy. That reports Zeeland broadcaster.
A video of last Monday’s attack is circulating on social media. The video shows that the victim is approached by the group. One of the boys suddenly slaps him in the face, after which the rest of the group strikes him.
The kicking and hitting continues for about ten seconds, until a woman comes running and the group of boys runs off. There is an indignant reaction on social media.
The police asked in a press release not to play in their own courts, because the case is high and thoroughly investigated. The police also ask people to remove the video from their social media account.
