Prymula was appointed by President Miloš Zeman a month ago, on Monday 21 September. A day later, the new minister took over the management of the ministry.

If he ends up in office now, he is entitled to severance pay under the Act on the Salaries of Constitutional Officials. Due to the fact that he has been in office for exactly one month, he can receive only one extra salary, ie CZK 173,200 gross.

The same law stipulates that the outgoing minister may use a company car with or without a driver for three months after leaving office.

Prymula met around Wednesday midnight with the head of ANO deputies Jaroslav Faltýnek in a restaurant in Vyšehrad, Prague. They did so despite government-announced measures in the midst of a state of emergency. Blesk pointed this out on Friday. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš subsequently stated that Prymula would either resign himself or recall him.
