Saidin Sinaga (55) and his wife and 3 children died inside fire at Perum Bumi Permai Sentosa, Palasari Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency. The victim’s neighbor, Agus (50), revealed Saidin was a figure that many residents like.
“As far as I know, he has worked at a paint company for a long time, he is well-liked by his colleagues,” said Agus when met at Bumi Permai Sentosa Housing, Palasari Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Friday (23/10/2020).
Agus said, Saidin opened the workshop as a side business. He is known to like to help the people around.
“If on holidays he often helps residents, he opens a bicycle repair shop and patches the tires, if residents ask for emergency help he helps. He’s very kind here. He is an employee if I’m not mistaken in 2 years to retire,” said Agus.
“His wife is a housewife, her first child worked in a bank in Jakarta, the second child goes to college in two months, wants a trial, number 3 class 1 SMA. Her children obedient parents, so all of them, “he added.

Agus revealed that he had met Saidin’s first child the night before the fire. He admitted not finding any suspicious incidents prior to the fire.
“Nothing, at 9:00 p.m. I was still chatting with his son because he came to my house. He doesn’t have any problems here, he has a positive association here,” said Agus.
Agus said the bodies of Saidin and his family have been brought to his hometown in Gunungkidul, DIY. They were brought after Friday prayers.
Previously, the police investigated the fire of 4 houses that killed a family in Bumi Permai Sentosa Housing, Palasari Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, early this morning. Puslabfor was dispatched to the location for investigate the cause of the fire.
“The cause is still being investigated,” said South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Iman Setiawan when contacted detikcom, Friday (23/10/2020).
Contacted separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for South Tangerang Police, AKP Angga Surya Saputra, said that his party had conducted a crime scene investigation at the scene. The police also involved Puslabfor to investigate the cause of the fire.
