Wizards and lovers of the universe of Harry Potter, at Rouen (Seine-Maritime), will not miss this appointment, Saturday, October 24, 2020: Mysteries and spells, a city investigation game that draws its inspiration from the saga of British author JK Rowling.
To the Wizards’ school
On the online registration page, the sorcerer’s apprentices – alone or in a team – choose the house in which they want to evolve (Tigredor, Becdaigle, Oursouffle, Selezard). Then, the place and time of the meeting are sent by email to the participants.
On D-Day, the players then become students of a witchcraft school for more than three hours. Armed with a city map, their cell phone and instructions provided by the referent teacher at their house, they set off to explore the city.
The synopsis
Regarding the plot, 221b animations, the organizing company, sets the scene: “While all the students are preparing for the traditional awarding ceremony which will give the victorious house, terrible events occur at the school. Indeed, for a few days, students seem to have suffered a curse that transforms them into emerald statues without anyone being able to stop this phenomenon. The mystery remains unresolved until the director evokes the existence of an obscure prophecy … Will they be able to thwart it and save their comrades before it is too late? “

Challenges and workshops
“Alone or in teams, the participants go from clue to clue in order to thwart the prophecy of the emerald, while earning points for their respective houses,” specifies 221b animations. To do this, they will be offered different challenges in the form of fun workshops supervised by facilitators. Students are also called upon to accomplish different missions, such as finding fantastic creatures, catching the gold ball, and also taking on surprise challenges. “
