Remco Evenepoel’s father has fallen victim to a theft. Patrick Evenepoel is a plasterer, but when he arrived at his yard in Lennik on Thursday, it turned out to have been cleared out.

On the Instagram page of Pleisterwerken Evenepoel, he already made a statement: “Has anyone seen something suspicious? Yard cleared out. Scandalous, police were inundated with thefts. ”
“What kind of a world do we actually live in, where people steal work material?” He responded disappointed to Radio 2 Vlaams-Brabant. “It is already the third yard theft that I have experienced. Some of the loot was still out on the street. They even have the lighting and the yard radio with them. But we have to keep going and not give up, even in this time of corona. ”
The local police zone Pajottenland has started an investigation.
