Czech Health Minister under fire for corona rules violation | Abroad

The minister is said to have met the group leader of his ruling party ANO in the establishment. It is mandatory to wear mouth masks outside in built-up areas in the Czech Republic. In addition, all restaurants are closed and they are only allowed to collect items.

Group leader Jaroslav Faltynek acknowledged the mistake and apologized to Parliament. The two would have discussed business over a cup of coffee.

The opposition in the Czech parliament is now calling for Prymula’s resignation. The rules should apply to everyone without exception, according to the Minister of the Interior.
