The type of lending has changed as a result of the corona pandemic: since mid-March, borrowers have been taking out fully digital loans or using the video identification process. This was the result of a current analysis of the installment loans concluded via CHECK24 since February 2020. The proportion of digitized loan agreements has increased by an average of 40 percent since the second half of March. *

“We are noticing a significant surge in demand for our fully digital loan offerings, which continues over the course of the year”says Christian Nau, Managing Director Loans at CHECK24.

A digital loan agreement saves you going to the post office or bank branch

Since the beginning of 2017, CHECK24 has made it possible to take out a loan completely digitally. The handwritten signature and the sending of the credit agreement to the bank are no longer necessary. The identity check is also carried out from home using the digital video identification process.
