NEW YORK – Gray skies and heavy haze persist as a near stationary front continues near the tri-state area with easterly winds bringing in moist, sea air.

With some rays of sunshine this afternoon the highs should rise to 70 degrees.
The cloudiness will increase as the evening progresses with another foggy and cloudy start to Friday. This weather pattern will persist for most of the weekend, along with a drop in temperatures that will be in the 50s by Sunday.
The next time we are going to need the umbrellas it will be at the beginning of the next business week.
