Motorcyclist dies in accident on the highway in Funchal – DNOTICIAS.PT

A motorcyclist in his 50s died tonight, following an accident on the highway, in the area of ​​Pena, in Funchal.

The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters and the EMIR were called to the scene, having carried out the resuscitation maneuvers. However, despite the efforts of the relief teams, it was not possible to revert the clinical condition and death was declared on the spot.

The alert came at about 9 pm. The teams remain on site waiting for the health delegate to be present.
