No better time for a new record. ‘Country 2 Deluxe’ says it all: it is a deluxe version of her album ‘Country 2’, supplemented with three bonus tracks and fifteen of her most beautiful songs over the years – such as ‘You make the clouds disappear’, ‘Arrivederci Hans’ and “Angels Don’t Talk,” the song she wrote about her father, who died of cancer six years ago at the age of 59. “It is an album with sometimes very cheerful tunes, but above all with a lot of emotions. A drama with an exuberant ribbon around it”, is how Sabrina Tack – Laura Lynn is after 15 years still ‘only’ a stage name – her birthday record. “I find myself delivering a tragic text very cheerfully at times. I see the audience go wild, laughing along to ‘You lied to me a thousand times’ (on the record is a revised version that Gene Thomas contributed to, Ed.).
