Prince Nawaf bin Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud died. Prince’s death Nawaf this adds to the long list of deaths of the princes in Saudi Arabia.
Reported ArabNews, Wednesday (21/10/2020) SPA reported that funeral prayers were held on Tuesday (20/10) in the Kingdom’s capital, Riyadh. The cause of the death of the prince was not explained.
Meanwhile, King Jordan Abdullah extended his condolences to King Salman, the royal family and the people of Saudi Arabia, the Petra state news agency reported.
Meanwhile, reported by Al Khaleej Today (21/10), the late Prince Nawaf is the son of Prince Saad bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Emirate’s first deputy minister in the Northern Frontier Region, and a former head of the National Guard.
Nawaf’s mother is Princess Noura bint Faisal Al Saud, and she has two brothers.
The late Prince Nawwaf married Princess Abeer bint Sultan Al-Rashid, and he had two children, Prince Abdulaziz and Princess Maha.
There is no information about the late Prince Nawaf’s official position, while a number of princes from the ruling family occupy government positions, and thousands more live their private lives away from the limelight.
Saudi Princes Who Died This Year
The death of Prince Nawaf is not the first of this year. The government of Saudi Arabia also announced that Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud died on Tuesday (7/7/2020). Prince Khalid is reported to have died abroad.
“The kingdom announced the death of Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who died abroad,” said the announcement as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Tuesday (7/7/2020).
“May Allah bestow mercy on him and be the inhabitant of heaven,” the statement continued.
