The number of active COVID-19 cases in Suriname has decreased to 57 in the past 24 hours. A week ago this number was 95 and yesterday 65. This appears from the update of the figures on Tuesday evening on the official COVID-19 website of the Surinamese government.
The number of new cases, which emerged after 220 tests, is 11. Most new cases are in Paramaribo and Wanica, followed by Commewijne.
