Collision between tram and bus at Museumplein

A GVB tram and an R-Net bus collided this morning at the intersection of Van Baerlestraat and Willemsparkweg.

According to a witness, there were passengers in both vehicles, but everyone got off unscathed. Due to the collision, the intersection was closed for some time to other public transport. Trams 2, 3, 5 and 12 therefore had to detour.

The tram was not derailed by the collision and the bus was also able to continue driving despite the damage sustained. The intersection is now open again.
