The English Premier League teams Manchester United scored on top of Tuesday in the first game of the UEFA Champions League 2020/21 season and won a minimal victory over the so-called Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
In the first H-group game of the season, United won the PSG with the guests 2: 1 (1: 0).
The Manchester team took the lead in the 23rd minute, as two minutes before the referee signaled a “pendulum” to the PSG goal. Bruno Fernandess’s fine footwork caused nothing but headaches for Keilors Navass. The keeper wasn’t fooled however, and confidently scooped up the ball. Fernandess was infallible on the second approach.
After 55 minutes, a deliberate handball from United’s Antonī Marsiāls was judged to be his second bookable offense, and he was sent off. United’s goal to make it 3 minutes was scored by Markuss Rešfords when he got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 – 1 for the visitors.
In this group, the German team “Leipzig” defeated Istanbul “Bashaksehir” with 2: 0 (2: 0) in their field. In the 16th and 20th minute, the Spaniard Angelino stood out in the Leipzig team.
Elsewhere in the Group E duel, London’s Chelsea played a draw without a draw 0: 0 (0: 0) with Sevilla from Spain.
Meanwhile, “Lazio” won one of the strongest teams of the Bundesliga “Borussia” in the first game of Group F at home with 3: 1 (2: 0).
The Italian team managed to take the reins already in the sixth minute, when Chiro Immobile stood out.
