There are now 18,353 currently infected with covid-19 in the capital. In the capital so far, the daily increase has never reached over 1,400 cases. Since March, 33,626 people have become infected in Prague, 265 of whom have died.

6:59 – V CR from today, the obligation to wear veils also applies outside in the territory of municipalities, if a person is closer than two meters to another. Exceptions are members of one family or people playing sports. Veils are also mandatory in the car, unless you drive alone or with family members.

5:55 – On Tuesday, a record number of 11,984 newly confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection increased in the Czech Republic, the number of currently infected rose to 113,219, the Ministry of Health said after midnight on Tuesday. The number of hospitalized people was already 4,064 on Tuesday evening, 634 of whom are in serious condition.
Since March, laboratories in the Czech Republic have detected 193,946 cases of coronavirus, and 1,619 infected have died. According to the current incomplete data, 42 victims died during Wednesday, most of them – 97 – were registered on Monday.

The number of infected people in the Zlín region is now increasing the most. In the last seven days, there have been 881 new cases of covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants. The second most significant increase was recorded in the Prostějov district, more than 770. Over 700 cases per 100,000 inhabitants were detected by laboratories in the districts of Plzeň, Plzeň-sever, Plzeň-jih and Uherské Hradiště.
