Merger is a form of corporate action that refers to the consolidation of companies or assets in one particular entity by merging with other entities.
Recently, there was news of a merger, namely PT Bank BRI Syariah Tbk (BRIS) which is a subsidiary of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) which will merge with PT Bank BNI Syariah (BNIS) and PT Bank Mandiri Syariah (BSM).
