Jeff Bridges, best known as ‘The Dude’ from the movie classic ‘The big Lebowski’, has lymph node cancer. The 70-year-old American actor himself announced this via Twitter, with a reference to his most famous character.

“To put it in the words of The Dude… New sh*t has come to light. I’ve been diagnosed with lymph node cancer, ”the actor wrote on the microblogging site. “Although this is a very serious disease, I feel fortunate to have a great team of doctors available and that the outlook is good.”
