Melania Trump remains the main absentee in her husband Donald’s election campaign. Normally she would attend a campaign meeting in Pennsylvania on Tuesday for the first time in months, but the first lady has again canceled. “Because she’s not feeling well,” CNN reports. The first lady is still recovering from a corona infection.

“Mrs. Trump is feeling a little better every day during her rehab from Covid-19, but because she is still coughing – and out of extreme caution – we have decided she will not travel just yet,” said her chief of staff Stephanie Grisham.
Outside of her speech at the Republican National Convention in August, it would be her first appearance at a campaign rally in more than a year. Then she accompanied the president to a re-election rally in Florida in June.
In an earlier statement, the first lady already said that she was “hit” by all Covid symptoms at the same time. “It looked like a rollercoaster ride. I had pain, a cough, a headache and I felt extremely tired. ”
No new speeches from Melania were scheduled for Tuesday’s rally, nor are there any campaign meetings scheduled for the coming weeks.
