“Get the macaws.” It is a sentence that is currently doing the rounds in Ghent. Idries Bensbaho, a 23-year-old actor and student entrepreneur, was on his way to visit a family member when the police made some arrests on Van Beverenplein. Bensbaho filmed everything and posted the images online afterwards. According to him, one of the officers shouted “get the bastards” and then released a dog on him.
