Euroleague management reports that two duels on October 22 have been postponed, as well as one game, which was scheduled to take place a day later.

On October 22, Zenit of St. Petersburg – AX Armani Exchange Olimpia of Milan, as well as TD Systems Baskonia of Vitoria, represented by Artūrs Kurucs, which would have visited Alba in Berlin, will not go to the square.

A day later, the French team represented by Rihards Lomaža had to meet at the Wilelban ASVEL with the host of Istanbul “Anadolu Efes”.

Zenit, ALBA and ASVEL requested the rescheduling of the games due to the insufficient number of players. Covid-19 has been previously reported in all teams.

The Board of Shareholders of the Euroleague Commercial Assets (CEA) accepted the teams’ requests and stated that one game could be postponed three times, as long as the timing could be agreed. The Euroleague management will report on the new times of the transferred games at a later date.

The leader of the Euroleague with four victories in the same games is Kaunas “Žalgiris”, but the highest of the clubs represented by Latvians is Rolands Šmita’s “Barcelona”, which takes the fifth place in four matches with three successes.

Also this season, ten countries with 18 teams are represented in the Euroleague, which is the same as in the previous season. The teams will play a two-round tournament, with the top eight entering the playoffs. The Euroleague champion will be determined in Cologne, where the final four tournament will take place.

This year, the champion was not determined, the tournament ended six rounds before the end of the regular championship.
