To the German magazine image Sylvie gave a candid interview in the context of breast cancer month, because Sylvie herself has also had breast cancer. In the interview, Sylvie talks about the influence that this diagnosis had on her relationship with Rafael. “It is not the cause of the fracture, but the diagnosis certainly played a role,” says La Meis.
Sylvie emphasizes that your life changes radically the moment you are diagnosed with cancer. “With such a disease you change as a person, you are no longer the same person”, she says. Sylvie herself has become more aware that life is finite. “So I try to be as happy as possible every day.”

Fortunately, Sylvie has been clean for a few years now, and therefore cancer free. She is still taking medication and has a check-up every six months. “You have to be more alert that the cancer can come back. That’s why regular checkups are so important.”
Sylvie also thinks she would have had a different life if she had never gotten sick. “I would certainly have had a second child.” Sylvie recently said that a second child is now no longer in it, despite the fact that she only married her love Niclas Castello. You can see images of the wedding below.
