1. Cough colds

Cold cough disease often attacks during the rainy season. 2. Leptospirosis

5. Diarrhea

This widespread intestinal disease is caused due to unhygienic consumption of food and water. Diarrhea is a disease that can be prevented and treated if one is careful.

There are two kinds of diarrhea, acute and chronic, both of which can be treated. Drinking boiled water and consuming clean home foods are the best ways to prevent this disease.

6. Typhus

A waterborne disease, typhoid is usually caused by poor sanitation. This means consumption of food and water that is cooked or stored in poor sanitation. This S. typhi bacteria causes typhus.
