Samsung has announced the release date of the Galaxy A42 5G. The affordable 5G device will be in Dutch stores at the end of this month with a suggested retail price of 349 euros.

This is striking, because Samsung previously announced that the A42 5G has a suggested retail price of 379 euros.

The smartphone is available in three colors (black, gray and white) and an improved version of the Galaxy A41. However, this smartphone does not support 5G and has a smaller screen, less powerful hardware and a smaller battery. It is a lot cheaper.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has a large 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a small notch and a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 750 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The battery is 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with 15 Watt.

Four cameras can be found on the back, each with its own unique feature. The main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels. This way you can take a great photo with enough details and contrast. A wide-angle lens of 8 megapixels is also available. With that camera you shoot good pictures with a wider angle of, for example, landscapes or architecture.
