sc Heerenveen has an excellent start to the Eredivisie. With ten points from four duels, the team is the trainer Johnny Jansen third behind Feyenoord and PSV. Sunday is the game with Ajax in the Johan Cruijff ArenA on the program.
Ajax is currently fifth in the Eredivisie. A tough job, Jansen knows. “Yes, a very difficult game, that is clear. Ajax is overflowing with quality”, the trainer says the club website. “We will have to get it right defensively. Achieving a positive result there will be quite an art.”
Jansen has to do against the team from Amsterdam without a wing attacker Arjen van der Heide. The eighteen-year-old player was in the starting line-up for the first four games, but is suffering from an ankle injury. Jansen does not want to make any statements about the replacement yet. “I cannot say anything about that. We have several options. You will see who will appear at the kick-off in the Arena on Sunday.”
Another doubtful case is Joey Veerman (21). He is waiting for his body to react to the last workouts, knows The Telegraph.
