For those who have not played World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth it may be a bit dizzy after all those names, but this book is mainly intended for the players of the game. To call it fanfiction, the book does injustice to Roux’s writing skills, but it is a delightful story for anyone who has followed WoW’s story over the years.
We get a special look into the heads of leading figures such as Anduin and Talanji, but also the necessary humor and even some flirtation here and there between characters that you wouldn’t immediately expect. If postponing expansion makes you feel like a dark hole in the coming months, just go and read Shadows Rising. You couldn’t wish for better preparation for Shadowlands in the area of Lore.
